COORDINATING COUNCIL
Purpose: The Coordinating Council is a committee of Pueblo Presbytery, empowered by and responsible to the Presbytery. This committee is responsible to work with staff, committees and working groups to coordinate the mission and ecclesiastic directives of the Presbytery. Their mission is to coordinate and oversee the work of the Presbytery between Presbytery meetings, to act as Directors of the Presbytery Corporations and to provide leadership training as appropriate.
Membership: This 15 person committee is made up of: Presbytery Moderator, Presbytery Past Moderator, Presbytery Moderator Elect, Executive Presbyter, Stated Clerk, Treasurer, Moderator of COM, Moderator of CPM, Moderator of Presbyterian Women, and one member from each Cluster and two Members at Large from the Presbytery. Pastor/Elder equalization shall take place when possible.

COMMITTEE ON MINISTRY
Purpose: The Committee on Ministry (CoM) is mandated by the Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (USA) (Book of Order, G-3.0307). The CoM’s mission is to oversee and support relationships between pastors and congregations. This committee is responsible to exercise compassionate ordering of Ministers of Word and Sacrament, Commissioned Pastors, and churches in ways that support the Presbytery’s mission statement and its common life. Membership: The 9 members are elected in 3 classes and serve 3 year term

SUBCOMMITTEE ON COMMISSIONED PASTORS
(Reporting to the COM)
Purpose: To fa026cilitate the preparation, continued training and oversight of Commissioned Pastors within the bounds of the Presbytery of Pueblo.
Membership: The 6 members (3 MWS and 3 CPs) are appointed by the COM in 3 classes and serve 3 year terms.

COMMITTEE ON PREPARATION FOR MINISTRY
Purpose: The Committee on Preparation for Ministry (CoPM) is mandated by the Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (USA) (Book of Order, G-3.0307). The CoPM has the mission of overseeing and supporting Inquirers and Candidates as they progress to being ordained as Ministers of Word and Sacrament. This committee’s purpose is to challenge people to consider church vocations and to supervise/support the needs and requirements of Inquirers/Candidates.
Membership: The CoPM consists of 6 members elected in 3 classes with 3 year terms with a balance between Ministers of Word and Sacrament and Ruling Elders.

COMMITTEE ON REPRESENTATION/NOMINATIONS
Purpose: The Committee on Representation/Nominations (CRN) is mandated by the Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (USA)(Book of Order, G-3.0103). This committee has a mission to assure Coordinating Council, Presbytery committees and other working groups are filled with people who represent the distribution within the Presbytery in regards to race, ethnicity, sexual identity, age, disability and other groups that need a voice within the Presbytery. Their purpose is to seek fair-minded and effective persons for leadership who are committed to Christ’s mission and that of the Presbyterian Church.
Membership: The membership of this committee shall be 4 persons, elected in 3 classes for 3 year terms, having representatives from the 4 clusters and be balanced, as equally as possible, by men and women, ministers and laypersons.

PERMANENT JUDICIAL COMMISSION
Purpose: The Permanent Judicial Commission (PJC) is guided by Section D of the Book of Order. The responsibility of PJC is to review and aide in disciplinary cases within the Presbytery.
Membership: The PJC consists of 7 members elected in 3 classes for 6 year terms. A balance of membership shall be maintained at 3 Ruling Elders, 3 Ministers of Word and Sacrament with the 7th person being either a RE or a MWS.

PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH CONNECTION
Purpose: To promote coordinated ministry to youth within Pueblo Presbytery. This committee is responsible for Youth Summer Camp, Mission Trips, youth delegates to the PC (USA) Triennium, and other presbytery-wide events focusing on ministry to young people.
Membership: Appointed by the Youth Ministry Coordinator.
